This has to be my favourite Photograph by Photographer Elspeth Diederix, it has a really creepy, eerie atmosphere and the colour contrast works great (she has used this "Red" contrasting colour in several other images but this is the one that stands out for me).

There's a great post over at Buzzfeed by Anteater of Creepy and Weird photographs...this one in particular took my fancy and gave me the Shivers!!!

New Podcast - The Stuff of Nightmares Vol.1

It's taken a while but I've finally got round to finishing the latest podcast, The Stuff of Nightmares!!!
I've really enjoyed putting this one together (although I did give myself  a serious case of the creeps sitting in my dark room assembling this in the early hours of the morning!)

If you were born between the late 60's and mid 70's then this is for you...don't blame me if you have nightmares though...you have been warned!!

Insects Vs Sinister Fairies

I've just discovered the work of Artist Tessa Farmer.
She depicts a world where tiny, sinister, skeletal fairies are at battle with our world.
They battle with insects and collectively take down bigger prey like Hedgehogs, Rats and Snakes.
It's fascinating, atmospheric and disturbing stuff invoking feelings of childhood nightmares and evil lurking just out of sight.
I've become an instant fan of her work and hope I get the chance to check some out in person soon.
